Thank you, Governor @abigailspanberger, for signing HB494 and HB413 into law.
Virginia has been hit hard by federal workforce cuts. HB494 ensures that people who lost their jobs through no fault of their own have a fair shot at working in state government.
Right now, Virginia and states across the country are facing a shortage of CNAs and other health professionals. HB413 helps address this by creating a new program that allows high school students to train and earn certification as certified nurse aides.
I am proud to have passed these bills to help strengthen Virginia’s economy and support federal workers, many of whom live right here in HD-22.

The same Congress that has the power to stop a president from unilaterally plunging us into a catastrophic war is in recess. Playing golf. Raising money. Tweeting about nothing.
Let me be clear: if you won’t use every tool available, which includes forcing Congress back into session to stop a president from threatening mass death, then your spine isn’t missing. It was donated to AIPAC.

Virginia’s 22nd House of Delegates District
Virginia’s 22nd District encompasses portions of Central/Western Prince William County in Northern Virginia. Following redistricting in 2023, the district includes areas such as Nokesville, Bristow, and parts of the outskirts of Manassas, and the eastern portion of Gainesville.
